Alivio Search Partners is recruiting a Nurse Manager for a confidential skilled nursing facility client in New York City, with openings across the Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will lead a resident care unit, supervising nursing staff and making sure every resident receives safe, person-centered, regulation-compliant care. Full-timeWhat You'll Do
Lead day-to-day nursing operations on an assigned SNF/long-term care unit.
Supervise, schedule, coach, and evaluate RNs, LPNs, and CNAs on the unit.
Develop, review, and update resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
Monitor clinical quality (falls, wounds, infections, medication administration) and drive corrective action.
Support accurate, timely documentation and MDS-related assessments for the unit.
Keep the unit survey-ready and compliant with NYSDOH and CMS requirements.
Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the Director of Nursing on changes in condition and care.
Onboard and train new staff and support ongoing in-service education.
Requirements & Qualifications
Active, unrestricted New York State RN license.
Unit leadership experience (Nurse Manager, Unit Manager, or Supervisor) in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
Experience supervising nursing staff and building and maintaining care plans.
Working knowledge of NYSDOH and CMS long-term care regulations.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to work on-site in the Bronx, Queens, or Manhattan.
A BSN is preferred.
MDS/RAI process experience is preferred.
Experience through a state survey and an infection control or wound care background are preferred.
Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.
Compensation
$105,000 to $135,000 annual base, based on experience
