Senior Product Engineer - AI Developer Tools

Alivio Search Partners is recruiting Senior Product Engineers for a confidential, high-growth developer tools and AI company in New York City. You will build developer-facing products from zero to one, owning product decisions from idea through launch and iteration. This is a hands-on full-stack role spanning modern React frontends and meaningful backend and systems-design work, with applied AI and coding-agent workflows at the center of the product. The team works on-site in New York City five days per week. Candidates outside NYC may be considered if firmly committed to relocating. Compensation includes an annual base of $200,000 to $300,000 plus equity, depending on experience. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship. Design, build, and ship new developer-facing products from concept to production.
Own product decisions through launch and iteration, working directly with users who are engineers.
Build across the stack with React/TypeScript and backend services.
Make systems-design and architecture decisions for new products.
Ship applied AI and agentic workflow features.
Requirements & Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on full-stack product engineering experience.
Built and deployed a meaningful 0-to-1 product at a startup or high-growth company, with personal ownership.
Strong, recent React and TypeScript experience plus real backend depth.
Experience building products for developers (APIs, SDKs, or developer tooling); dev tools or infrastructure startup experience preferred.
Shipped applied AI/LLM features or strong agentic or coding-agent workflow experience.
Based in NYC or willing to relocate; on-site five days per week.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Compensation
$200,000 to $300,000 annual base + equity
